CORPORATE AI USAGE SURVEY REPORT: Insights from SwedCham China
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China is pleased to present this new survey report on AI usage among our member companies in China.
Swedish companies have a longstanding presence in China, dating back many decades and encompassing various stages of the country’s development. As we move further into an era defined by digitalization and emerging technologies, one question stands out: how are Swedish enterprises operating in China adopting and utilizing AI?
To explore this topic, SwedCham China conducted a “mini-survey” sent out via email to our member companies to gain a first snapshot of AI usage trends in the local market. Over the past months, we collected responses from 20 firms, ranging from startups to established multinationals, across diverse industries such as manufacturing, automotive, technology, and professional services. These findings form the basis of this white paper.
In this report, we briefly outline how AI tools are currently being used among Swedish businesses in China, the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and where additional potential may exist. Our goal is to provide a clear, concise overview that helps Swedish companies better understand the realities of AI adoption on the ground.
