Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide global technical support for production process, mould and parts production.
- Contribute to engineering projects.
- Establish action plans on technical corrective issues.
- Give input on technical pre-requisites for development of future suppliers.
- Innovating the concept and technology to support production increasing the efficiency and quality level.
- Keep tracking all the document including the BOM, quality control form, drawings, PWI, etc. to secure all of them are the newest version before handing over to serial production.
- Maintain server files and guarantee that the external and internal files are organized and traceable.
- Create innovative solutions to meet customers’ technical requirements.
- Provide on-time, professional and effective on-site support service, e.g. root cause analysis for defects, preventive/corrective action plan, etc.
- New project guide into.
- Assist in designing and engineering of technical projects throughout all global sites.
- Test and renovate the new materials for cost saving.
- Support for Headquarters to implement new technology.
- Support the 4 key areas of focus (Safety Quality Delivery Cost).
- Process improvement in production (locally as globally).
- Guide/lead PE team to improve the process skill and solve quality issues.
- Guide/lead PE team to make the template, jigs and other production support tools.
Competences/ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years working experience in composites/FRP, or wind turbine industry is advantageous.
- 5+ Years experience managing, coaching and developing people in a high-performance culture.
- Proven ability to lead and influence in a collaborative, cross functioning group without command to meet strategic objectives and outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills. The ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels and regions
