KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Lead product hardware development and technology platform management.
  • Lead product hardware design, integration, test & validation, and certification.
  • Ensure hardware design quality, lead design review and document control, optimize hardware development process.
  • Lead the transfer & optimization of new technology platforms, analyze the technical feasibility of new projects, support further development of the product portfolios and industrialization of new technologies.
  • Participate in product requirement analysis, Program evaluation, prototype design and test review, and guide hardware simulation & design, debugging and problem solving.
  • Lead the research on new hardware technologies, evaluate and introduce new manufacturing testing technologies to production.
  • Technical communication and cooperation with Global R&D teams.
  • R&D-Production integration, E-BOM establishment, production import of design documents, cost analysis, and mass production support.
  • Cross-function team collaboration, supporting production, industrialization, sourcing, quality, marketing, and other R&D functional groups.
  • Outsourcing Design Services and Supplier Management
  • Support innovation projects and patent applications.
  • Team technical management, Technical Roadmap development, team technical competence improvement, process optimization.  
  • Personnel management, team working objectives setting, performance evaluation, motivation and feedback, talent development.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors’ degree or above in Electronic Engineering or related majors
  • 8+ years HW design experience in MNC (based on ARM core & 6+ layers PCB development)
  • 3+ years HW team management experience
  • R&D work experience is must.
  • Skilled in using Altium for schematic and PCB design, and P-Spice for simulation.
  • Familiar with product development processes and technologies, familiar with hardware testing techniques, reliability design principles and methods
  • Skilled in digital and analogue circuits design, meeting EMC requirements
  • Project management knowledge (with practical project management experience) is preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Technical background in FieldBus, Industrial Ethernet, or sensor technology is a plus.
