Executive search: Our client is a world leading manufacturer and exporter of flooring products. For them we are looking for a Business Development Manager to support their European Account Team on identifying & initiating new partnerships, effectively servicing existing accounts and marketing company products in the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Help Account Team with: 

  • Strategy and Product, Quotation, Samples.
  •  Information flow of new products, sales book, and all they need to serve and find customers.
  • Marketing in a very broad sense: working with our marketing department to develop brand/image/promotion fitting the customer’s needs.
  • Product presentation, attendance to relevant exhibitions and engage with customers and leads to develop the market.
  • Product selection according to market preferences and needs.

Together with the Sales Director define the strategy and follow specific projects.

Coordinate the launch of new product lines with the new and/or existing customers.

Sales Events for Local Markets upon requirement.

Actively cooperate with a Customer Service Team; Key for a successful BD work.  

 

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Customer Service/Account Management experience (Ideally manufacturing company in Flooring/Building Materials industry)
  • Familiar with multicultural work environment;
  • Excellent communications skills (speaking, reading, writing), attention to detail and strong organizational skills, English is a must (Fluent), Spanish or German a big plus.
  • Good analytical skills & ability to work under pressure;
  • Dependable, reliable, and hardworking. Outgoing, social and with good people skills, used to cold door calls.
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization and build strong relationships.
  • Exercises influence with internal and external customers
  • Can identify alternative solutions when necessary.
