Welcome onboard SwedCham China's new GM Malin Hammarén

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to announce that Malin Hammarén starting today is joining us as our new General Manager.

Malin brings with her experience from all over the world, having worked in various countries, including Sweden, Italy, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates, where she has worked with prominent organizations such as Ericsson, Hilti, Business Sweden, and the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

In today’s changing global environment, Malin’s diverse experience will help guide the Chamber through this dynamic landscape and continue to strengthen its role as a key connection for Swedish businesses in China.

Coming in with a new vision, we are excited about the opportunities to further evolve the chamber's value, building on the strong foundation laid by our previous leadership to handle the business climate of China today.

Malin will be leading the chamber's efforts in both our Beijing and Shanghai offices and will be based in Shanghai, where she lives with her family.

Malin is eager to begin her journey with Swedcham: “I am very excited to lead the chamber forward together with the team and look forward to continuing to excellent opportunities for our members and partners.
