After a fruitful board meeting held in the morning, Strategy Day 2023 officially started with a welcome and an overview of 2023 Swedcham China presented by Daniela LV Casser, Swedcham China GM. Then, an excellent presentation was given by the Shanghai and Beijing regional managers, Jonatan and Jaycee. They provided insights into the chamber's performance over the last year and discussed SWEDCHAM China's challenges and opportunities. It was highlighted that the chamber is looking to increase its presence in more cities across China and is planning to host a greater number of events in various cities in the upcoming year.
During the Strategy Day, Larry Wang led an outstanding workshop that was both informative and engaging, spanning across several sessions throughout the day.
Dinner at Mosto: The day concluded with a delightful dinner at Mosto restaurant, providing a perfect setting for relaxation and networking after a day full of activities.
A shout-out to Volvo Car for providing the venue and a special thank you is extended to Larry Wang for his exceptional workshop, and to all the board members and partners who joined us, making this strategy day both successful and memorable.

This week, our team embarked on a unique adventure, blending cultural exploration and innovative team-building activities. Here's a glimpse of our unforgettable journey:
🍴 Food Tour in Shanghai 🍴 First stop: a culinary exploration of Shanghai's traditional flavors. We started our day with a delightful Chinese breakfast, savoring local delicacies like Jianbing (Chinese Crepe), savory scallion oil noodles, crispy Potstickers, and sweet sesame sticky rice dumplings. The rich tastes were an absolute treat, and a great way to start the day!
🏙️ Exploring Shanghai's Old Lanes 🏙️ Our culinary journey led us through Shanghai's charming old lanes, including a visit to the bustling Donghu Rd Wet Market. Immersed in the vibrant atmosphere, we experienced the city's dynamic blend of tradition and modernity.
🎮 VR Escape Room Challenge 🎮 Next up, we dived into the world of virtual reality! Our team collaborated in a VR escape room, working together to navigate through a pyramid filled with intricate traps. The experience not only tested our problem-solving skills but also strengthened our team spirit. And yes, we celebrated our escape with a fun group photo as our VR characters!
🇸🇪 A Taste of Sweden at Smaka 🇸🇪 To conclude our adventure, we ate the very traditional Toast Skagen at Smaka.
